Grab Jumper Cables: Then, you will need a set of jumper cables. This is called special cables that have red and black ends. Ensure that the cables are not excessively long or excessively short; they should be just the right length for your requirements.
Connect to The Dead Car: Now take the other end of the black cable and connect it to a bare metal surface on the engine block of the dead car. So you need to find a clean piece of metal that is not painted. Do NOT attach it to the negative (-) terminal of the dead battery, as that can be dangerous.
Taking Off the Jumper Cables: After the dead vehicle starts, you will need to carefully detach the jumper wires. You do this in reverse order, though: first the black cable from the engine block, second the black cable from the good battery, third the red cable from the good battery and finally the red cable from the dead battery.
